See the 'Register Device UDID' section here for more details. Last but not the least, download and install Xcode beta from the Apple Developer portal before performing the restore.
Step 1. Sign into Apple's Developer Program website.
Step 2. Go to the Downloads section.
Step 3 Under Featured Downloads find the ISPW file you wish to install on your iPhone or iPad and save it to your desktop.
Step 4. Connect your device to your Mac using a Lightning cable or a USB-C cable if you have one of the latest iPad Pro tablets.
Step 5. Launch Finder or iTunes.
Step 6. As soon as your device shows up, click on it to reveal more options.
Step 7. Now press and hold the Option key on the keyboard and click on the Restore iPhone button.
Step 8. Select the IPSW file you downloaded from Apple's website and let it restore.
